Sensei Mike Heapy 6th Dan has been teaching for over 25 years, he is the North West Chief Instructor. The Hazel Grove dojo is still the central meeting place for Stockport students and covers all training levels from beginner to instructor.
Sensei Heapy has represented Bujinkai Karate in tournaments nationally and internationally on numerous occasions both in kumite (fighting) and kata. He has also been in the North West National England squad and the British Freestyle Team. Mike is also a qualified referee officiating at a number of competitions.
He has also helped numbers of students achieve there goals throughout, whether it is in competitions, to get to black belt or just to improve there life.
