Recent News
GASSHKU 2009 was held in the Brecon Beacons in Wales. One way to describe this was wet. Some people we're in the nice dry bunkhouse. However the rest of the poor souls were in tents. And yes it did rain ALL weekend!!!

The weekend which was over 4 days included over 26 hours of training. Friday started Training at 3. We had two training sessions one of which was kata. On the Saturday we ended up in the waterfalls doing basics! It was amazing to be stood behind the waterfalls! On the Sunday Sensei Heapy did a lesson on "Extreme Bunkai" Which seemed to be a favourite for many students!

Congratulations to all those who passed their gradings, a special recognition goes to Sensei Heapy who is now a 6th Dan, Sensei Dixon 5th Dan and Sensei Moreno 5th Dan.

LYME PARK annual Course and Grading was well attended. Luckily we had good weather and amazingly didn't get rained on!

Congratulations to all those who successfully graded. It was great to see so many new faces, especially the younger members and we hope everyone had a fun day.

It was officially 10 years since we held our first outdoor training session at Lyme Park, we've come a long way since then, back in 1999 we had 19 people attend. On Sunday there were just a few more with 78 people training and many spectators overseeing the event. See photos >>>
